Tim Ryan
President
About Tim
Tim has more than 20 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, Startups, Entrepreneurism and Information Technology. Tim works with two primary focuses. First is working with early stage startups and small businesses to help them start, grow and succeed, Secondly, to energize larger and more established business by helping think and operate in a more youthful and nimble manner. Tim currently serves as the Executive Director StartWheel, an organization that consolidates and coordinates the entrepreneurial efforts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Tim also served as the director of the Greater Williamsburg Business Incubator, most commonly known as the “Launchpad” and is a past President of the Rotary Club of Newport News.
Tim has an MBA from the College of William and Mary and his undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems from St. Leo University. Tim is also a certified Project Management Professional.
Tim moved to Virginia in 2001 when he was stationed at Langley Air Force Base. Tim is an avid runner and has competed multiple marathons.
